Corporal Nick Bulger

Cpl. Nick Bulger was receiving our packages to distribute to the troops. Nick, a Buckhorn boy at heart, lost his life in Afghanistan on July 3, 2009. Here is an excerpt from one of the last letters that Nick emailed:

“Wow thanks so much for the message. So yes all of the boxes got here. Everyone and anyone that heard about them can’t believe the work that your team has done so far. Truly this was something that no one expected at all; not even me. We are actually going out tomorrow morning to distribute them to the guys. I have to say that the timing is great. Tomorrow is Canada Day. Let everyone know we thank you for your support.”
