Yellow Ribbon Campaign

cday1On “Canada Day” in 2009, Cpl. Nick Bulger  was in Afghanistan handing out “things from home” to his comrades from the Yellow Ribbon Campaign group.   Nick was KIA on July 3, 2009.  The Yellow Ribbon Campaign continues to support our troops by sending “things from home” to our soldiers!  To Kuwait, Ukraine, Poland, Iraq or where ever they go.

In 2017 Canadian Soldiers are in Egypt.  They are there to patrol the zone closest to the Egyptian-Israeli border… MFO  (Multinational Force Observers).   The weather is “Hot”!  My contact over there has already experienced a couple 40 degree days, if you can imagine!!

Soldiers celebrated “Canada Day 2017” in Egypt.  Boxes were taken to Trenton on June 13th, and  included lots of “Red & White” items…to show the other Nations how we Support our Canadian Troops, and how Proud we are!

Items were sent over for Christmas 2017. Take a look HERE at some pictures and comments from the soldiers and families
