Buckhorn Community and Cultural Centre
The BCC has an opening for a Volunteer Coordinator who will assume responsibility for the coordination of volunteers . This will include scheduling of volunteers, ensuring that key positions are staffed, recruiting and familiarizing volunteers with the centre. The successful candidate will match jobs to volunteers, keep updated on all upcoming events and maintain and update Sumac database.
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills:
- Computer and social media skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with a diverse group of volunteers, staff and board members
- Team player who is flexible with a willingness to adjust hours to accommodate events
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
This position will report to the General Manager and work with Event Leads. The Volunteer Coordinator Position is honorarium based with an expectation of working approximately 20 hours per month.
